Our center provides 3 distinct economic forecast offerings: the BBKI acts as a monthly barometer of where the economy is and where it might be heading; CEMR produces forecasts for the nation, Indiana and Indiana metropolitan areas; and Futurecast offers annual economic outlook events around the state each fall.
BBKI indicates economic activity below trend in September
The latest BBKI release shows the coincident indicator at -0.5 for September, a slight decline from August’s estimate of -0.4.
CEMR U.S. forecast for November changed little
The end of the government shutdown hasn’t yet brought data releases back to normal, so our forecast for November has only a few crumbs of new data.
